Why are birds in London not afraid of people?
In other countries the birds are very afraid of people. Even when you're walking far away from where the bird is, it freaks out and watches you're every move.
When I went to London, the pigions ate from my hand and were all over me LOL.
What's the answer?

1. I think the birds are more tame there because there are more people on foot in London than in other countries. Also, there seems to be this 'feed the birds' culture, and the birds are tamed by being constantly fed by tourists and people.
When you say it was like the bird is watching your every move - to me it seems like he's watching to see when you've going to feed him ;-)
2. Because Brits are wimps...
3. lmao raal do you read what she said?? she means the birds watch her evry move not meaning the london birds
4. They are pigeons. Doves and pigeons adapt quickly to the human environment and learn that humans don't attack or eat them the instant we see them. In fact people like to throw food at them so they think: People = not dangerous + food.
I've travelled to quite a lot of places and realized that where people like to give food to the animals, those animals become unafraid of humans. This includes fish, turtles, doves, pigeons, and gulls (there are many more, but I've never encountered them). When you go to remote places you might see starlings and cardinals and sparrows that fly away when they see people.
5. I never had a pigeon me. Maybe they find you sexy
